Etta's First Easter

We are full of firsts here at the Wicks residence. And so close to that first birthday that it is almost surreal.

But today was her first Easter. I started the day by sneaking away at 5:30 a.m. to enjoy the sunrise service. I was blessed to be able to join the worship team. It is hard to get up at 4:30 to do something like that - but it was totally and completely worth it. God's creation at day break is like nothing else.

Etta seemed to enjoy the day. She barely ate anything all day and didn't sleep much more than an hour throughout the day, but she hung in there and was her regular cheerful self.
