Playing in the park

On Saturday afternoon of summer celebration we just relaxed and spent some time down at the park. Didn't get any pics of the playground, but some other fun shots.

I want to be the horse, daddy.

I'm going to figure this out!

Close up photo op.

Exploring the teepee.

Is this the door?

So, somehow, (when we weren't *really* paying attention) Etta crawled up under the stroller. It had all three water bottles and my purse in it already. How she got in we will never really know. But she ended up getting stuck and we had to unsnap a bunch of things to get her out! What an inquisitive girl.

Fourth of July fun!

Yesterday we had a very busy day.

Got the kayaks out and made the short drive to Manns lake just out of town. We figured all other bodies of water would be super packed and we needed a nice calm place for our first outing on the water with Etta.

Geared up and heading for the water.

Ready to go.

And...we're off!

Chillin' in the middle.

All that rowing wears a girl out.

After a (short) afternoon nap we headed up to Grandma Cathy's and Grandpa Steve's for a pool party and fire works. What I did not get any pictures of was Etta feeding the cows apples. She would hold the little apples in her hand and then stick her WHOLE hand in the cow's mouth. I would pull her arm back so it would not get sucked down with the apples! She did not seem to mind the slobber or the rough cow tongue. What a woman!

Splashy, splashy

Swinging with Grandma Cathy

Which end do we light?

One tired girl.

Concert, Auntie, Shep

Okay, these may get a little eclectic in their composition. Oh well.

On Wednesday we went up to Great Falls to attend the Great Falls Community Band concert. Etta has outgrown her "perfect" concert etiquette and likes to move around. Oh well, it was a pretty lose atmosphere.

What's over here?

A nice, big woof!

Okay, we can head back now.

Visiting Auntie Marion.

A dog! My favorite!!

What a nice puppy.

14th Month Annibirthery

Going through my pictures. Have A LOT of new ones. Should be plenty of posts in the week to come.

The 28th was Etta's official annibirthery. Another one year molar popped in on that day bringing her tooth total to ten. Four up and six down.

She started taking tentative steps in Montana but today has really started going from place to place on her feet and upright instead of on her knees. The walking with a finger support has been going on for awhile. But now she is ready to branch off on her own.

I'll come and get a closer pose for you mommy.

Oooooooooooooh. You want me to stay heeeeeeeeeere. AaaaaaHahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

Walking my own wagon. I don't really need you anymore mommy. I can do it myself.
