Two Month Annibirthery

Yesterday Mae turned two months old! I had the greatest of intentions of getting her picture on the rug in a certain outfit. Well...that didn't happen. But I did get some pics of her this morning before we went in for her doctor's appointment. She currently weighs 9 lbs. 7.5 oz and is 22 inches long. She is just under the 50th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight. Not too shabby!

The lighting in this one isn't great. But it's the only one that at least one leg is almost, kinda straight...

And she is starting to smile. A little. Whenever it suits her. Usually right before she gets tired and cranky.

And for the ever important comparison click here.

Idaho, Idaho, Go! Go! Go!

Last Saturday (actually Friday night) we headed up to Moscow so we could partake in the homecoming festivities. It is so fun to see people that we rarely get to see, spend some time in the "band" environment and get into a game for free. It was cold and wet and we had two small children in tow but...there's no place like Dome!

On Thursday the girls & I went to lunch at McGhee. This is the principal, Greg, decked out. I thought it would be a good intro pic.

Our good friend Casey McNett's band.

Our good friend Casey. He's on the left. In the kilt. And if you look carefully & closely at the above pic you will see that his kids march in kilts. God put him there for a reason!

All of the bands on the field for rehearsal.

The start of half-time.

The Mexican dancers that joined the band for this show.

The end of the half-time show with the alum band in the "front". They are the row of yellow across the top of the pic. See if you can find Bob!

Our good friend Katee McCormick. She's a UI Boner just like I was!! We love Katee & are super proud of her.

After we got home we realized we hadn't gotten a family shot. Set up the tripod and there you go. I think I am going to need to set that up a bit more...

Pumpkin Patch

For playdate one day we headed out to the local pumpkin patch. It was my first "true" outing with both girls by myself. I didn't bring our new double stroller - will definitely NOT make that mistake again. One major thing about having two? I don't get nearly as many pictures as I would like...these I got after every one else had left and we were trying to get ready to go.

This is boring mom, let's go.

Etta playing in the hay.

Dat's MY pumpkin!

Pep Rally

We skidded into Bozeman (after stopping at the Urgent Care in Belgrade to get medication for the PINK EYE I woke up with...) 15 minutes before Erik's pep rally started. Of course he was excited to see his #1 girl, and meet his #2 #1 girl. It was beautiful weather and a really fun time.

What do you see over there?

New hat at mittens from Uncle.

The band.

Look at that horn angle! So proud of Uncle Eek!!

Football Game!!

Go Cats Go!

Bob & Etta took in the first half of the MSU Homecoming game. Well, mostly Bob as apparently Etta slept all of the first quarter on his lap...This was toward the end of the second quarter.

Etta and Champ.

The best part of football games? Popcorn! Thanks Grandma Cathy!!

[Note: Grandma Cathy introduced Etta to popcorn at football games. Grandma Cynthia bought the pictured box - and one more!]
