A look to the future

Someday this will be in a car...I think I kinda like that I can still chaperon! Etta is finally big enough that she can sit there with one of the boys without me having to hold on to her. Although they did stay stationary. Not quite to the cruising stage yet.

[Note: Soon after the last picture was taken Etta started to wiggle and Jonah declared that, "B Etta all done". In the time it took me to shut off the camera and not quite get it to the counter Etta had done a complete face plant into the linoleum. I gotta be quicker with these things...]

Learning Early

It's never too early to get 'em in the kitchen. There are certain drawers and cabinets that Etta is allowed to explore. One day last week she went all out!

Mommy and Me

Some new toys

Etta got ... a few ... new toys for her birthday. Everyone was very generous and the girl will not be wanting for something to do for quite a while. Here are a couple of "action" shots.

Seriously, I want them to come out.



[Etta likes to grab the balls after they come out of the train. And she likes to block them from being able to come out. But when she does that she gets really ticked that they aren't showing up!]

A girl and her curl

Etta has never had very much hair. Although it has really been getting longer and so we think it also appears darker. One day when she was eating I noticed that she had two nice little curls above her ears. It may take a close look - but they are there!

Fun in the sun

Last Friday we loaded up and headed over to Christine's to watch the boys while Christine got in a run. [Note: We have a 14 mile run this weekend and our half-marathon next weekend. We are over half way through our training and looking forward to the full 26.2!]

The kids played outside and had a great time!
